What you see
You don't open a separate chat with Riley. The CEO chat panel is the only place you talk to the team. When Riley is brought in, her name and avatar appear in the same panel as a new bubble, and a Task Card opens with her as the owner.
How to bring Riley in
- Open the CEO chat panel (top of the left nav).
- Type what you want, naming her if you know it's research:
- "Have Riley look at our top three competitors."
- "Riley, pull pricing benchmarks for [category]."
- "What are people saying about [topic] on Reddit? — Riley's job."
- Or just describe what you need ("I want to understand our competitive position") — Astra brings her in.
- Watch her bubble appear. Open her Task Card from the chat to follow the work.
What Riley owns
- Competitor teardowns — pricing, positioning, recent moves.
- Pricing benchmarks for a category.
- Customer signal scans (Reddit, forums, review sites).
- Market sizing and "who else is in this space" reports.
- Every claim comes with a citation link.
How the team coordinates around this
Riley pairs with Sam on questions that span external + internal ("are we cheap vs. competitors?"). When that happens you'll see both their bubbles in the same Task Card thread.
