The CEO chat is the one place the chairman talks to Astra. It's a single, persistent thread per project — Astra remembers what was said yesterday, last week, and last month. There's no "new chat" button, and there shouldn't be.
What it's for
- Telling Astra what to do (anything from "look into X" to "ship this by Friday")
- Reading the morning brief
- Approving or pushing back on Astra's proposals
- Asking questions about the business — numbers, status, what shipped, what's stuck
What it's not for
- Talking directly to Riley, Sam, Dev, or any other team member — those conversations happen on task threads, not here
- Long meandering brainstorms with no decision — Astra will nudge toward a concrete next step
Tone
Talk to Astra the way you'd talk to a chief of staff — short, direct, half-formed. She'll ask one focused question if anything is unclear. She doesn't need elaborate prompts.
One thread, forever
The thread is permanent. Closing the tab, switching devices, or coming back in three months — same thread, full memory. This is intentional. Don't try to clear it.
For how to talk to other team members about a specific task, see the talk-to-an-ai-employee guide.
