Tycoon follows the principles of the EU's GDPR and California's CCPA, which give people specific rights over the data a service holds about them.

Rights the chairman has

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data Tycoon holds about you. The export flow covers most of this; for anything beyond, contact support.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data (most fields are editable in Settings → Account).
  • Erasure — delete your account and have your personal data removed within 30 days, subject to a small set of legal retention exceptions.
  • Portability — export your workspace content in a usable form. See the export reference.
  • Objection and restriction — limit how Tycoon processes your data for specific purposes. Contact support to make this kind of request.
  • Opt out of sale — Tycoon doesn't sell personal data, so this right is moot here, but the option is formally available under CCPA.

How to exercise these rights

For most rights, the in-product flows are the fastest path:

  • Settings → Account for editing personal info
  • Settings → Workspace → Export data for portability
  • Settings → Account → Delete account for erasure

For anything not covered by self-serve, email the privacy contact in Settings → Account → Privacy. Tycoon responds within the timeframes the regulations require.

Data Processing Agreements

For workspaces handling personal data of others (clients, end users), Tycoon offers a Data Processing Agreement on request. Contact support to receive the current DPA.

Where data is processed

Workspace data is processed in the United States. International data transfers follow the standard mechanisms recognized by the relevant regulations.

Binding terms

This page describes the principles. For the binding policy language, see /privacy.
