How do I monitor blogs and news sources?
Tell Astra which blogs or news sites you want to track — she uses BlogWatcher to scan RSS/Atom feeds for new articles and surface what matters.
What can I ask?
- "Monitor the top 5 AI company blogs for me"
- "Track new posts from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google DeepMind"
- "Show me what's new this week from our competitors' blogs"
- "Add the Y Combinator blog to my monitoring"
- "What new articles came out today in our space?"
How does it work?
BlogWatcher scans RSS/Atom feeds from any blog or news site. When a new article matters, Astra can attach the finding to the monitoring Task, include it in a durable Doc, or create a follow-up Task. Meaningful completed outcomes appear in Work → Done. No API key is needed — RSS is a standard web protocol.
What sources can I track?
- Company blogs and engineering blogs
- Tech news sites (TechCrunch, The Verge, Ars Technica)
- Industry publications
- Personal blogs of thought leaders
- Academic blogs and research group blogs
- Open source project blogs
