You talk to the team in two places. The CEO chat panel at the top of the left nav is your conversation with Astra — that's the front door for everything new. Every other teammate replies on the Task Card they own, in the thread at the bottom of that card. You don't message specialists directly from the left nav; once a Task Card opens, the card's thread becomes that teammate's inbox for that piece of work.
Talking to Astra (CEO chat)
Open the CEO chat from the top of the left nav. Type plain English — "Write a 500-word announcement, casual tone, ship by Friday," or just "I need something for the launch but I'm not sure what." Astra confirms what she heard, asks any clarifying question, and either answers directly or opens a Task Card with the right teammate. Voice input works too — tap the mic in the chat box and speak; multilingual input is supported. Casual chat (saying good morning, asking strategic questions) is free; only task work charges credits.
Talking to a specific teammate (Task Card thread)
Open any active Task Card from the feed or the Tasks tab. The reply box at the bottom of the thread goes to the owner — Casey, Dev, Riley, whoever Astra assigned. They see your message instantly and reply in the same thread. Drafts and assets they produce land in that thread inline, so feedback stays attached to the version it's about. Use the card thread when you want to tweak the brief mid-flight ("actually make it longer"), give specific notes on a draft, or ask how they're approaching the work.
When to use which
Use the CEO chat with Astra to start new work, change priorities, or have a strategic conversation. Use the Task Card thread to talk about one specific piece of work in flight. You don't need to copy Astra into card threads — she watches every active task and steps in herself when something needs her attention.
