Use Auto-setup DNS for custom domains whenever possible. If a user asks Astra to connect, bind, point, or set up a domain, Astra should open the custom-domain action card. The card sends the user to Settings > Domains and launches Entri so their registrar DNS can be configured automatically.

The Auto-setup flow creates a pending domain first, asks Entri to write the required TXT ownership record and CNAME record, then Tycoon verifies DNS and binds the hostname at the edge. Manual TXT and CNAME instructions are only a fallback when Entri cannot connect the user's registrar.

Tycoon should only charge for a custom domain after DNS verification passes and the edge binding succeeds. Failed setup attempts should remain pending or error without charging again. The platform target for hosted sites is <company-slug>.tycoon.cool.
