Open the workspace knowledge panel and either type a note, paste a doc, or upload a file. Astra reads it immediately and the team starts using it on the next task.

Three ways to add it

Type or paste — short notes like "we don't do referral discounts" or "our brand voice is casual, no exclamation marks." Upload a file — brand guidelines, product specs, customer research, decision docs. Tell Astra — say it in the CEO chat like "from now on, never mention competitor X by name" and she records it as knowledge.

What to add first

Brand voice notes — a sentence or two is plenty. Who you sell to and what they care about. What is free vs paid in your product. Three or four decisions you don't want to re-explain.

What to skip

Anything you would rather the team forget — knowledge is sticky. Secrets like API keys and passwords — those go in integration settings. One-off task instructions — those belong in the task brief.

Editing or deleting knowledge

Each item can be edited or deleted from the knowledge panel. The team adapts on the next task — they do not keep using deleted knowledge.

Less is more

A page of clear context beats a hundred pages of dump. Trim aggressively and revisit every couple of months.

For what counts as knowledge, see the knowledge reference.
