What the team roster is

The team roster is the list of all nine AI employees in your workspace, what each one does, and what they've been working on lately. It's the directory the chairman opens when they want to see who's on the team or what someone has shipped.

The team roster is the list of all nine AI employees in your workspace, what each one does, and what they've been working on lately. It's the directory the chairman opens when they want to see who's on the team or what someone has shipped.

What's on the roster

  • Each employee's name, role, and portrait
  • A one-line description of what they own
  • Their recent tasks — what's done, what's in flight
  • A way to open any of their past work directly

Where to find it

In the workspace nav, under the team section. It's the same view across every project — the team is shared across the whole workspace, not split per project.

The roster is fixed

You can't add a tenth employee or remove one. The nine roles cover what a typical small startup needs. If you find yourself wishing for a role that doesn't exist, mention it to Astra — usually one of the existing nine already covers it, just not under the name you expected.

Talking to a team member from the roster

The roster shows their work but isn't a chat surface. To direct one of them to a specific task, do it through Astra in the CEO chat — she briefs them.

For who handles what, see the AI employee roles reference.

Still have a question?
Ask Astra in chat — she has the same docs you do.
