Deleting an account removes the chairman's login and all personal data tied to it. This is separate from deleting a workspace — accounts can own multiple workspaces, and account deletion handles them all together.
Before you delete
Export anything worth keeping first — see the export reference. Once the account is gone, the deliverables, chat history, and task records cannot be recovered.
If the chairman is the only member of any workspace, those workspaces are deleted with the account. If a workspace is shared with teammates, the chairman's membership is removed but the workspace continues for the others.
How to delete
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Click Delete account.
- Confirm by typing the email address on the account.
A confirmation email is sent to verify the request is genuine. Click the link in that email to finalize.
What gets removed
- The login, email, and any personal profile information
- Solo workspaces (and everything in them)
- The chairman's membership in shared workspaces
- Personal notification preferences and 2FA settings
Timeline
Active data is removed within 30 days of confirmation, in line with right-to-be-forgotten principles. Some records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Pending charges and refunds
Any usage already incurred is settled before the account closes. Outstanding refund requests are processed against the original payment method.
Binding terms
For the binding policy language on data deletion and retention, see /privacy.
