A scheduled run says Canceled, and you didn't cancel it
Each run is created at its scheduled moment, then handed to a machine to execute. If that handoff is refused, the run never starts. A day after its moment, Tycoon retires it instead of leaving a to-do in your list that can never begin, and records the reason: "Scheduled run retired: it was refused at dispatch and never started, and its scheduled moment has passed. The schedule keeps running on its own cadence."
A retired run is not replayed. A scheduled check exists to look at one moment; running yesterday's check today would report on a situation that is gone. Your next scheduled run covers you, and the Outcome itself is untouched.
The routine reads "Dark"
Dark means the schedule is firing on time, but its runs are not reaching a conclusion. The Outcome's next step then names how many runs are piling up and says it is waiting for the schedule to recover, rather than showing everything as normal. Related wording you may see: "Last run failed…", "The expected next run is overdue", "Enabled, but no run has completed yet".
What to do: nothing for a single retired run. If it repeats, or the row stays Dark, ask Tycoon Agent on that Outcome to look at the schedule.
What it costs: a run that never started did no work and draws no credits. Runs are charged only for the work actually performed.
