What you see

A routine is recurring work the team runs on a schedule. You set it up once, and from then on a fresh Task Card appears in your feed each time the routine runs (Monday 9am, daily, etc.) — same as any other task. You can see and manage all your routines in Settings → Routines.

How to use it

  1. To set one up: in the CEO chat, tell Astra what you want — "Every Monday morning, summarize last week's revenue" or "Daily, scan our top three competitors for pricing changes."
  2. Astra confirms what she heard and creates the routine.
  3. Open Settings → Routines to see the list, change the schedule, pause, or delete any of them.
  4. To pause from chat: "Pause the Monday revenue routine."

Two kinds of routines

  • Routines you set up — explicit requests like "every Monday, send me last week's KPIs."
  • Routines the team proposes — Astra may suggest one when she notices the same request repeating ("want me to make this weekly?").

Routines vs. one-off tasks

A task is one-off work you ask for in chat. A routine is scheduled work that runs on its own. Both produce a Task Card in the feed and both charge for the work they did.

For how to pause one, see the pause-a-routine guide.
