The feed is the workspace timeline — a reverse-chronological view of everything the team is doing or has finished. It's where the chairman scans for what shipped overnight and what's in flight right now.
What shows up
- Tasks the team finished, with the deliverable linked
- Tasks in progress, with a one-line status
- Anything Astra wants to flag — a customer signal, a number that moved, a stuck task waiting on the chairman
- Routine runs (Monday SEO report, daily competitor scan, etc.)
What doesn't
- Internal chatter between team members on task threads — only the resolved outcome surfaces
- Drafts the team is still iterating on
- Failures the team auto-recovered from without losing time
How it differs from the morning brief
The brief is Astra's curated story of what matters today. The feed is the raw record — everything, in time order. Most chairmen check the brief first, then dip into the feed only when they want detail.
Filtering
The feed can be filtered by project, by team member, or by status (in-progress, done, waiting on chairman). The waiting-on-chairman filter is the one to check first thing in the morning.
For Astra's curated take, see the morning brief reference.
