Tycoon is operated through the chat. The chairman talks to Astra, dispatches tasks, and reviews work — all in the browser or the mobile app. There is no separate command line for founders.
Why no CLI for the chairman
The product is designed around natural-language direction. Anything the chairman would want to do — start a task, check status, review a deliverable, change a plan — is faster as a sentence to Astra than as a typed command. Tycoon's job is to make running a company feel like talking to a team, not like operating a tool.
Where the AI team works
The AI employees themselves operate using the right tools for whatever they're doing — code editors, design surfaces, browsers, terminals on isolated infrastructure that Tycoon manages. None of that surfaces to the chairman as something they need to learn or run.
Chat replaces the CLI for things like
- "Show me what tasks ran this week" — Astra summarizes the activity
- "Cancel the social media post task" — Astra stops it and confirms
- "Run the weekly competitor scan now" — Astra dispatches the routine ahead of schedule
- "How much have we spent this month?" — Astra reads from billing
For chairmen who like dashboards over conversation, the same operations live in the workspace UI: the Tasks view, Routines, Settings → Billing, etc.
For developers building on top of Tycoon
If the goal is integrating Tycoon with other systems programmatically, that's a different conversation — reach out via support to discuss what you're trying to do. There isn't a public, self-serve API surface for general access today.
Bottom line
If a founder feels the need to "open a terminal" to use Tycoon, that's a signal that something in the chat experience isn't doing its job. Mention it to Astra or send feedback — that's the kind of friction the team actively wants to remove.
