What you see

Research tasks go to one of two people. Riley for external research (anything outside your business). Sam for internal research (anything inside your numbers). You don't have to ask for them by name; Astra brings them into your CEO chat panel when you describe the work.

The handoff in chat

When the work moves, the teammate's avatar appears in your chat thread alongside Astra's bridge message ("Bringing Riley in to pull competitor pricing"). A Task Card opens with their name on it, and their messages in the thread show their name and role.

How to use it

  1. In the CEO chat, ask the question in plain English. Examples:
    • "Compare us to our top three competitors." → Riley
    • "Why did our churn spike this month?" → Sam
    • "What's the market size for [category]?" → Riley
    • "Which cohort has the best retention?" → Sam
    • "Are we cheap vs. competitors?" → Riley + Sam together
  2. Open the Task Card from the chat to see the deliverable.

What you'll get back

Riley delivers reports with citations at every claim — pricing screenshots, review links, market data sources. Sam delivers numbers with the math shown — time window, cohort definition, deltas vs. last period. When the question crosses both, you get one combined deliverable in a single Task Card.
