Five words shape every screen.

What is a workspace? A workspace is one company. It holds your nine AI teammates, the credit balance, every project, every asset, and every past conversation for that business. Switching between workspaces is a single click in the top-left menu. Workspaces don't share knowledge or credits — use a second one only when you're running a genuinely different business.

What is a project? A project is one line of work inside a workspace — your main product, a side launch, a marketing push. Tasks, assets, and chat threads about that work live under their project so they don't bleed into the rest of the company. Start with one project. Add another only when the work has a different audience, goal, or brand voice — splitting too early creates empty containers.

What is a goal? A goal is the outcome you want the team to drive toward — "$10K MRR by end of Q3" or "launch the iOS app." Goals shape what Astra prioritizes day to day; she brings them up in the morning brief and flags when one is at risk. A good goal has a clear outcome, a timeframe, and a project it belongs to. Soft goals without numbers work too — "build trust with top 10 customers" is real.

What is a task? A task is one unit of work the team executes — write a blog post, ship a landing page, research a competitor. It has one owner, one deliverable, and a visible state from start to done. Saying "hey what do you think of X?" is chat; saying "write a 500-word announcement and post it" is a task. Astra opens a Task Card, briefs the right teammate, and runs it. Each task charges credits for the work done.

What is a routine? A routine is recurring work the team runs on a schedule — set it up once and a Task Card appears in your feed each time it fires. Tell Astra in the CEO chat: "Every Monday morning, summarize last week's revenue." You manage all routines in Settings > Routines, where you can pause or delete them. Each run produces a normal Task Card and charges credits like any other task.
