How company knowledge is stored

How is company knowledge stored?

Tycoon keeps your company knowledge in a living collection of Docs — stored, updated, and reused as you work. No separate wiki, no external knowledge base, no lost context between sessions.

How it works

Every piece of company knowledge is a Doc, organized into three layers:

  • Handbook — persistent chapters, one per topic, that stay current. A small set of governance chapters comes first: working-rules.md (company operating policy), user.md (your personal collaboration preferences), and team-ownership.md (who owns what). More chapters are added freely as topics emerge.
  • Memory — notes the team writes itself for future reference.
  • Skills — reusable capabilities that guide how agents work.

What gets stored

  • Your rules and preferences — communication style, language, decision format, autonomy and approval rules.
  • Business context — company mission, product, target customers, brand voice, no-go zones.
  • Team responsibilities — a human-readable map of who does what, strengths, and coverage gaps.
  • Lessons learned — when work reveals a better approach, the team improves.

How agents use it

When work depends on a current topic, an agent reads the owning Handbook chapter and always works from its latest version. A durable company fact stated in chat is folded into the owning chapter, so the next session starts warm. A fact that belongs in a chapter that doesn't exist yet is proposed to you for approval before it's created.

Tycoon Agent manages the Library automatically. You focus on decisions; the AI team handles the memory.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to write docs myself?

A: No. The AI team writes and maintains docs automatically. Tycoon Agent and the agents update them as work happens. New chapters are only created with your approval.

Q: How is this different from a wiki?

A: It's agent-native. Docs are structured and versioned, and agents read and write them as part of their workflow — no context switching, no copy-paste.

Q: Can I search past conversations?

A: Yes, Tycoon Agent can search across all surfaces — docs, tasks, and chat history — to find the information you need.
