Connecting Gmail

How do I connect Gmail?

Open Integrations, find Gmail in the connector list, and connect it. You'll be sent to Google to approve. Pick the Gmail account you want to grant — make sure it's the right one if you have multiple.

What does this let the team do?

Tycoon Agent and the agents you delegate to can use your connected Gmail account to handle email work: drafting and sending outreach, scanning support replies, and summarizing what customers are asking. The team shows you a draft before anything goes out unless you've given a direct instruction to send.

Which actions are free?

Connecting Gmail costs no credits, and email tasks that require the connector (like reading or sending through your account) are free. Work that needs a model to draft or analyze text, such as writing cold outreach or summarizing support emails, consumes the regular model-based credit from your balance.

What do I need?

A Gmail or Google Workspace account. If you're on Workspace and your admin restricts third-party apps, they may need to approve first. A single connected account stays selected for follow-up work like replies, so the agent doesn't drift to another mailbox. If an email thread is deleted, the agent will report it or search again in the same account — you won't be asked to reconnect a healthy connector.

For more on what the team can connect to, see the supported integrations guide; to remove a connection later, see how to disconnect an integration.
