Connecting Microsoft Teams

1. Sign in to Tycoon.
2. Open Settings → Channels from the main navigation.
3. Select Microsoft Teams, choose Manage, and copy the complete personal code beginning with LINK:.
4. In Microsoft Teams, install Tycoon and open a personal chat.
5. Paste the complete LINK: code into that chat and send it.

Tycoon replies You're connected! when the account is linked. You can then send a greeting, ask for help, or ask Tycoon to track work, summarize business updates, research a question, or coordinate your Tycoon AI team.

How does Tycoon use AI in Microsoft Teams?

Tycoon uses artificial intelligence to understand the message you send in the personal Teams chat, retrieve the work and business context available to your connected Tycoon account, and generate a response or work product. Typical outputs include task and project summaries, business updates, research, drafts, and coordination instructions for your Tycoon AI team.

AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or objectionable. Review important output before relying on it, sharing it, or taking action. Tycoon is limited to the Tycoon workspace and permissions connected by the signed-in user; it does not gain access to unrelated Teams chats, team channels, or group chats.

To report objectionable AI-generated content, email support@tycoon.us with a description of the concern and the approximate time it occurred. Do not include a password, access token, or complete LINK: code. HeyMall, Inc. reviews reported concerns and takes appropriate action, including investigating the output and addressing product safeguards when needed.

What do I need?

An active Tycoon account and permission to install or use Tycoon in your Microsoft Teams organization. This release supports personal chat only; it does not support team channels or group chats.

FAQ

Q: Where is the personal link code?

A: In Tycoon, open Settings → Channels, select Microsoft Teams, and choose Manage. The dialog displays the complete code and a copy button.

Q: What if the code is invalid or expired?

A: Return to Settings → Channels → Microsoft Teams, choose Manage again, copy the new complete code, and send it in the Tycoon personal chat.

Q: What can I type to test the bot?

A: Try Hi, Hello, or Help. After linking, you can also ask a normal business question such as What work needs my attention? Tycoon always returns a useful reply or a clear retry/help message.

Q: Why can't I use Tycoon before linking?

A: Linking identifies your Tycoon account and workspace so Tycoon can act with the same access you already have in Tycoon. Do not share your personal link code.

Q: I still need help.

A: Email support@tycoon.us and include the visible error message. Never send passwords, access tokens, or your complete link code.

How do admins roll out Tycoon?

Tenant administrators can use this page as the publisher deployment guide:

1. In the Teams admin center, open Teams apps → Manage apps and locate Tycoon.
2. Review and allow the app for the intended users. The current release requests only the identity permission and supports personal chat only.
3. If your organization restricts third-party apps, update the applicable app permission policy so the reviewer or pilot users can install Tycoon.
4. Optionally add Tycoon to a setup policy for a pilot group. A global forced installation is not required.
5. Ask each user to sign in to Tycoon and generate their own LINK: code. Administrators must not distribute one shared code or ask users to send passwords through Teams.
6. For adoption, share this public setup page and direct users to type Help in the personal chat for capabilities, limitations, AI-review guidance, and the support contact.
