What you get at signup
A free credit balance is added to your new workspace. The amount is shown on the welcome screen and in Settings > Billing. It covers a meaningful slice of real work — chatting with Astra, dispatching a few starter tasks, exploring what the team can build.
No credit card required to start
You can sign up, create a workspace, and use the free credits without putting a card on file. A payment method is only needed when the free credits run out and you want to add more or subscribe.
What happens when free credits run out
Tasks that need credits to run will pause, and you get a prompt to top up or subscribe. Already-completed work, chat history, and the team's Notes are untouched.
No automatic conversion to paid
There is no silent conversion from free to paid. A subscription starts only when you explicitly pick a plan and confirm a payment method. You will never get a surprise charge from doing nothing.
