Private skills are custom workflows you create and store in your own workspace. They are yours alone — no other Tycoon company can see, install, or use them. You write a skill once, and every AI employee on your team can follow it.
How private skills differ from stock skills
Stock skills are built and maintained by Tycoon. They ship updates automatically and are the same for every company. Private skills are yours: you write them, you update them, and they live only inside your workspace. When a private skill and a stock skill share the same name, your private version takes priority — the team follows your version, not the public one.
Creating a private skill
Use Add Skill to open Astra with a starter prompt. Give Astra a GitHub link, document, file, pasted SOP, or a plain-language description of the workflow you want the team to follow. Astra inspects the source, asks for anything missing, then creates or patches the right workspace-private skill. You can also create skills programmatically through the CLI.
Updating and managing skills
Ask Astra to patch or update any private skill when the workflow changes. You can also archive skills you no longer need. Patch an existing skill instead of creating a new one with a different name when the workflow evolves — this keeps your team following one canonical version.
