Why did my task take so long?
The task finished, but it ran much longer than the usual estimate. Common reasons: the brief was open-ended so the team did more thorough work than expected, a connected tool was slow and every step had to wait, the brief asked for several deliverables in one task, or the work genuinely needed that long.
What should I do about it?
Skim the task thread end-to-end — the team posts in-thread updates when something is taking longer. If the next similar task should be faster, narrow the brief: ask for one deliverable per task instead of three, and say "skip deep research, use what you already know."
What if a connected tool is consistently slow?
Go to Tools > Connectors and reconnect it. A fresh connection sometimes restores normal speed.
What if the same kind of task keeps running long?
