What you see while Tycoon Agent is working

While a chat turn is running, Tycoon Agent shows its thinking and the step it is on, so you can tell the work is moving before the answer arrives.

What is on screen? Instead of a blank screen, you get the work as it happens. Within seconds of sending, a ✻ Thinking… line appears, followed by the step being worked on right now — reading a Doc, calling a connector, opening a Task. Each new step replaces the previous one, so the conversation never grows a wall of raw model output.

What happens when the turn finishes? The live line collapses into a single row above the answer — Worked for 12s (or minutes and hours for longer turns). Click it to expand the list of steps that turn took, and click again to collapse it. The steps are written in plain product language; the model's raw monologue is never published to the page.

Which language are the steps in? They follow the language of the conversation. English and Chinese are built in; other languages fall back to English.

Nothing is showing — is it stuck? The first message after opening a fresh chat can take longer while the workspace starts up; see how fast the team responds. If an answer never arrives at all, see my task is stuck.

Does it cost extra? No. Thinking and step lines are a view of the same turn you already asked for, not extra work, so there is no separate charge for them. See what counts as usage.
