Why did my task fail?
Tycoon does not use a separate user-facing Failed Task status. An unfinished Task stays in its honest lifecycle: queued, in progress, paused for a named wait, or a read-compatible legacy blocked state. Common causes include missing evidence, a disconnected tool, rate limiting, or an action that needs explicit approval.
What do I do first?
Open the Task from Work. Astra receives its Task number and title automatically. Ask for the failure cause, remaining gap, and recovery step. Do not infer that Blocked or Paused needs you: only a live Needs you request asks for your action.
What if a connected tool caused the failure?
Go to Settings → Connectors, reconnect it, then open the Task and tell Astra "try again."
What if the brief was too thin?
Open the same Task and give Astra the missing detail. She updates the parent Task and any affected child work instead of creating a duplicate Outcome.
What if nothing above works?
Open the Task and ask Astra to diagnose it. She will loop in support when the failure is outside the team.
