Where do I see it?
Open New task, write your request, and pick a runner from the "who does it" menu. It lists, in order: Tycoon Agent (the default, shown by name), your other Agents, an Engines group (the built-in Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes, plus any Bring your own CLIs you have paired), and My computers (paired local machines).
What can I pick?
- Runner / engine — one menu. An agent already carries its engine (picking a developer agent runs it on its engine; picking a bare engine runs it directly). There is no separate "Auto" engine — the runner you choose is the engine.
- Model — a second control appears once the runner can take a choice. Its options are the models that engine can actually run, so switching the model never switches the engine. Changing the runner moves the model to that engine's default (or keeps yours if it still runs there). Some engines pick their own model and show "model chosen by the engine" instead of a menu.
Tycoon Agent (the manager) runs on a fixed internal engine, so the model control stays hidden until you hand the task to another runner.
What does it cost?
Usage is billed to your workspace wallet at actual metered cost. Heavier models cost more per token, so leave the model on its default unless a task truly needs a stronger one.
