FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about wallet credit, usage, subscriptions, and how Tycoon charges for work.
Why leave Claude for Work?
Three typical reasons: (1) Team size — the 5-seat minimum doesn't fit 1-4 person founder teams. (2) You want agentic actions (browsing, tool use, code execution) that Claude's chat Teams tier still doesn't ship natively. (3) You realize what you actually wanted was a team that does the work, not a smarter chat window. Tycoon addresses all three: no seat minimum, agentic by default, and the model is wearing role hats doing concrete work.
Is Tycoon just Claude under the hood?
Partly. Tycoon routes to Claude 4.6 for reasoning-heavy work (strategy, code review, long-form writing), GPT-5 for structured tool use, and Gemini for very long context. The routing is picked per task by the system — you don't think about it. This is different from Claude for Work, which is Claude-only. If you specifically want Claude's voice and refusal behavior on every response, Claude for Work is more direct; if you want the best model per task, Tycoon's multi-model routing wins.
How does Claude for Work compare on security?
Claude for Work is stronger today: SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA-compliant Enterprise plan, zero data retention, fine-grained admin controls. Tycoon has zero retention on underlying model API calls, tenant isolation, and SSO, but SOC 2 Type II is still in progress (Q3 2026 target). If you're in healthcare, banking, or federal — go with Claude for Work today. Most other companies are fine with Tycoon's current posture.
Does Claude for Work have a team of AI roles like Tycoon?
No. Claude for Work's Projects feature is a shared knowledge base — you can upload documents, give Claude persistent instructions, and collaborate on conversations. That's different from having an AI CMO that remembers last quarter's campaigns, an AI CFO that tracks cash flow, and an AI COO that keeps the backlog moving. Anthropic's product is 'Claude as a smart seat'; Tycoon's is 'an AI team as a service'. Different product shapes for different jobs.
Which alternative has the best source citations?
Perplexity Pro for Teams, clearly — every answer comes with clickable footnotes, and Pro Search runs deeper multi-step research. If your job is competitive intel, market research, or analyst work, Perplexity wins on citation quality. Claude for Work cites when you ask but isn't citation-first. Tycoon's AI team cites sources when delivering research-style work, but its primary output is execution (campaigns, content, code), not citation-heavy research.
