Why did my task fail?
The task ended with a "Failed" status instead of "Done." The thread usually shows a short note from the team member explaining what stopped them. Common reasons: the brief was missing a key piece of information, a connected tool wasn't reachable, the work hit a rate limit, or it crossed a safety line that needs your explicit confirmation.
What do I do first?
Read the failure note at the bottom of the task thread — it usually says exactly what went wrong in one sentence. If it asks a question, answer it in the same thread and the team member will retry from where they stopped.
What if a connected tool caused the failure?
Go to Tools > Connectors, reconnect it, then tell the team member "try again" in the thread.
What if the brief was too thin?
Post the missing detail in the same task thread. Astra treats your note as the next instruction and can take another pass with the extra context.
