Sessions and login

What is a session? A session keeps you signed in across page loads and across days. Tycoon manages sessions to balance convenience and security.

How long does a session last? A session stays active across browser restarts, but expires after a period of inactivity. The exact duration is conservative enough that abandoned devices don't stay logged in indefinitely.

Where can I see active sessions? The account settings show the devices currently signed in. Each entry shows the device type and when that session was last active. If anything looks unfamiliar, you can sign out of that session to end it immediately.

How do I sign out everywhere? The same screen lets you sign out of all sessions at once. Useful after a stolen laptop, a shared device, or just for peace of mind. After doing this, every device — including the current one — is signed out.

Can I use multiple devices? Yes. You can be signed in on as many devices as needed. Each device is its own session. Switching workspaces happens within a session — the workspace switcher is local to whatever device you're on.

Will I be notified about new devices? When the account is signed in from a new device for the first time, Tycoon sends an email to the address on file. If the sign-in wasn't you, that's a signal to change your password and review the active sessions list.

If you forgot your password, see Password reset.
