Deleting a workspace is permanent. Everything inside it — chat history, tasks, deliverables, memory, integrations — is removed and cannot be brought back.
Before you delete
Consider exporting first. Once a workspace is gone, the deliverables go with it. See the export reference for what you can pull out and how.
If the goal is just to step away for a while, the workspace can sit idle — there is no penalty for inactivity, and any remaining credits stay on the balance.
How to delete
- Go to Settings → Workspace in the workspace you want to remove.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom.
- Click Delete workspace.
- Type the workspace name to confirm — this guard exists so the wrong workspace doesn't get deleted by accident.
The workspace disappears from the workspace switcher immediately. All chat threads, tasks, deliverables, and the AI team's memory are removed.
What happens to the credit balance
Any remaining credits on the workspace are forfeit on deletion. To preserve them, transfer the work to a different workspace first, or contact support before deleting if the balance is meaningful.
What happens to teammates
All teammates lose access immediately. They are not notified — let them know first if the workspace was shared.
Recovery
Tycoon does not keep recovery copies past a brief operational window measured in days. Deletion should be treated as final. For binding policy language, see /privacy.
