Steer queue
Stage follow-up messages while Astra works — they send automatically when she finishes, and can be edited or deleted before that.
Steer queue is a staged message buffer in the CEO chat that holds follow-up instructions while Astra is still responding. When Astra is generating, the composer shifts to "Ask for follow-up changes" mode. Type anything — a redirect, a correction, an addition — and it appears as a queued message above the input rather than interrupting mid-response.
When Astra finishes, the first staged message fires automatically. Each staged message can be edited by clicking the pencil icon (it returns to the composer for revision) or deleted before it sends. If Astra has already finished when a message is staged, it sends immediately.
Nothing is lost and nothing interrupts the current response unless that is the intent. The pattern matches how Codex handles mid-task steering.
