What is Tycoon AI?
Tycoon is the platform where humans and AI agents work together as one company. You get an AI CEO named Astra and a team of AI employees for coding, marketing, research, analytics, support, and operations — and you can bring your own agents. You give Astra a goal or task, and she breaks it into child tasks when needed, assigns agents, tracks progress, and brings important decisions back to you.
Is Tycoon only for solo founders, or can teams collaborate?
Tycoon is built for humans and AI agents working side by side — that scales from a single founder to a whole team. Invite other humans into the workspace so founders, teammates, contractors, or advisors collaborate with Astra and the AI team in one place.
How does Astra decide when to ask the founder for approval?
Astra can let low-risk, reversible, well-scoped work move forward autonomously. She escalates decisions that affect strategy, public publishing, customer communication, spend, production changes, legal risk, or any irreversible action.
Does Tycoon remember business context, or do I need to repeat everything?
Tycoon keeps persistent context across goals, tasks, routines, and founder feedback. You can also store positioning, pricing, brand voice, customer notes, and key links in workspace knowledge for the whole AI team to reuse.
How does Astra review the work from AI employees?
Astra reviews agent work against the task brief, workspace knowledge, approval boundaries, and available evidence. For engineering work, that can include changed files, test output, build status, and pull request context. For growth or operations work, it can include the deliverable, target KPI, constraints, and founder feedback.
How does Tycoon prevent agents from duplicating work or creating conflicting priorities?
New work flows through Astra first and becomes task cards with one owner, one deliverable, and one visible status. When work crosses functions, Astra coordinates handoffs inside the same parent task instead of making separate agents start overlapping work.
Can I hire focused AI agents or bring my own?
Yes. Market offers outcome-specific Agents and Agent Teams that you install only when you explicitly hire them; hiring alone never starts work. You can also create a custom agent or import your Claude Code or Codex setup — CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, skills, and docs — then define brand voice, quality standards, constraints, and approval rules in workspace knowledge.
