From onboarding to your first Outcome Task

During onboarding, Astra learns what your company does, its current stage, and the most useful result to pursue now. She creates one Task whose Outcome and acceptance criteria become clearer as she inspects reality. The same Task moves from planning into execution; planning is not a separate work object.

Measures are optional. Astra measures now when a trustworthy reading can change the judgment, instruments first when the signal is missing, waits when the effect is not mature, and uses factual or human evidence when a chart would add nothing. If the Outcome needs a recurring check, a supporting Routine is bound to that same Task.

FAQ

Does onboarding create several kinds of work?

No. It creates one Outcome Task. Child Tasks appear only when execution really benefits from independent owners or bounded contribution lanes.

How do I know when the Task succeeds?

Its versioned acceptance contract states the observable result and required evidence. If reality already satisfies it, the Task finishes immediately. If not, Astra acts or records a named wait and evaluates again when evidence changes.

Can Astra change an active Task herself?

She can sharpen assumptions and take reversible in-scope action. When you change the intended result or success bar, Astra versions the acceptance contract and rebases the same Task instead of creating a second Goal or Project.
