**Who pays for the AI when my team works?**

Either you do, from a subscription you already own, or Tycoon does and bills it
to your Company Wallet. You choose by connecting a subscription — or not.

## If you connect your own subscription

Connect your Claude or Codex subscription under Integrations, and your team's
work runs on it. That work does not draw Wallet credit for model usage. You are
paying your AI provider directly, exactly as you already were.

This suits you if you already pay for a plan and would rather use the allowance
you have than buy the same capacity twice.

## If you don't connect one

Your team runs on Tycoon's own capacity and the usage is billed to your Company
Wallet. Nothing to set up, nothing to maintain — this is the default, and most
workspaces stay here.

## If a connected subscription stops working

Tycoon stops rather than quietly moving your work onto its own capacity and
charging you for it. A subscription that is present but expired, revoked, or
unreadable is treated as a problem to tell you about, not a reason to reach for
your Wallet. You will see the task waiting on that, and reconnecting resumes it.

The one exception is a subscription you deliberately disconnect: that is a
clear instruction, so work continues on Tycoon's capacity and bills the Wallet
as it did before you connected anything.
