You can refresh the team's access to a connected service without losing any history.

## What it does

Rotating credentials means swapping out the access the team is using for a service — usually because you changed your password, your team rotated keys, or it's just good hygiene. The team's history of past work in that service stays intact. Only the live access is replaced.

## How to do it

Open **Integrations**, and find the service. If the connector is genuinely stale, it surfaces an explicit **Reconnect** action in its own "Needs attention" section. Otherwise, open the connected service's **Manage** expand to see the accounts it holds, and disconnect or reconfigure the exact account. Re-approving new access goes through the same approval flow you used the first time, and the existing connection is replaced cleanly.

## What you'll need

Whatever you needed to connect in the first place — admin rights on the third-party account, ability to approve the new access. The new approval has to be for the same account; if you switch accounts, treat it as a fresh connection instead.

## Once it's rotated

Rotating credentials does not interrupt ongoing work. If a task was paused specifically waiting on a credential decision, it resumes through the normal request flow once you provide the new credentials. You don't need to retell the team anything.
